Our industry continues to experience unprecedented conditions brought on by the pandemic. Most recently, import shipment delays, the lack of containers, and skyrocketing freight costs are stressing margins throughout our industry. Import freight costs alone are up 500%. Like other companies, we’re working hard to mitigate these expenses and their effect on you.
To avoid excessive price increases across our product lines, we’ve opted to adjust our freight policy. We hope this route will allow you to have some control over managing costs.
Beginning November 1st, the dollar levels required to earn a freight allowance will be increased.

J&B is a proud member of the first industrywide e-bike battery recycling program, administered by Call2Recycle, the largest, most reliable battery recycling program in the U.S., and endorsed by PeopleForBikes, a national bicycling advocacy organization, and the bicycle industry’s trade association. J&B has united with more than 40 bike industry leaders to voluntarily support this first of its kind, nationwide initiative to ensure batteries are safely and responsibly managed at their end-of-life.
As a J&B dealer, you play an integral role in the success of this program to help close the gap from rider to recycling. We encourage you to sign-up to become an e-bike battery collection location to demonstrate your environmental and safety commitment to your customers. Once enrolled, your site will be mapped out on both Call2Recycle’s and PeopleForBikes’ websites, allowing riders to identify your site as an e-bike battery collection location.

COST TO ENROLL IN THE PROGRAM
There is no cost to enroll in the Call2ReCycle Battery Recycling Program. Registered dealers will be provided with educational materials, safety training, battery collection kits, and dedicated program support free of charge.
HOW IS THE PROGRAM PAID FOR
A $15 recycling fee is included in the wholesale price of each new e-bike purchased from J&B. We recommend that you also add a $15 recycling fee at the time of sale to the consumer.
